The Ketsa Center, founded in 2003, is the association’s historic program. It serves as a third-party environment for children, from primary school through to professional integration. Located in a rural commune of the capital, Antananarivo, this day-care center for young people in vulnerable situations offers holistic support for both them and their families, with long-term follow-up. As the association’s experimental laboratory, the center adopts both a comprehensive and individualized approach, enabling each child to benefit from support tailored to his or her social, educational and health needs. Over the years, the Ketsa center has become an essential pillar of the local community.
Three clusters to meet all the needs of young people:

EDUCATION
The Education cluster aims to help young people succeed by assisting them in their school curriculum and in defining their life projects. It covers school fees and offers a range of services including tutoring, exam preparation and remedial sessions.

SOCIAL
The Social cluster offers psycho-social support to help young people in their overall development. This support aims to empower young people and their families, giving them the tools they need to overcome their difficulties. The emphasis is on a sense of commitment.

HEALTH-NUTRITION
The Health-Nutrition cluster offers its beneficiaries regular medical check-ups, preventive, maternal and child care, as well as the distribution of medicines. In addition, the center guarantees a balanced diet for its beneficiaries thanks to a canteen where meals are provided.
